Pure Collection was started in 2002 by Nick Falkingham and Adam Holdsworth. Their shared vision was to create a contemporary range of the highest quality cashmere at an afforable price. Since then Pure Collection has become one of the largest direct and online retailers of cashmere in the world.
They’ve grown in other ways too, when their customers told them they wanted beautiful clothes to complement their cashmere, they launched their successful womenswear range in 2007.
After much anticipation, Pure Collection opened its first boutique in 2011 in the beautiful town of Tunbridge Wells. Since then they have given even more customers the chance to experience the world of Pure Collection and have now set up and settled into Guildford, Marlow, Reigate and York with more boutiques on their way.
Cashmere has always remained at the heart of everything they do. They were the first brand to achieve 100% sustainable cashmere production. That’s because cashmere is what Pure Collection does best and love most.
Since its inception in 2001, JOIE has been one of the most sought after contemporary brands catering to the savvy, fashion minded, modern woman. Understatedly chic, JOIE’s designs are constantly inspired by the Southern California lifestyle and its casual, yet sophisticated way of life. Originally known for its signature cargos, JOIE has emerged as a lifestyle brand, a complete collection of ready to wear and accessories.
The JOIE aesthetic, both modern and timeless in its appeal, draws its influence from vintage creations while successfully maintaining a fresh approach to fashion. Be it Paris or California, the JOIE girl enjoys wearing casual, comfortable clothes accented by her travels throughout the world. The concept has always been “Casual, Comfortable and Luxurious.” Therefore, each piece that is designed encompasses a balance of these three key elements…one cannot exist without the other.
Headquartered in a loft in downtown Los Angeles, Owner and Creative Director Serge Azria’s goal is to continue in JOIE’s success while progressively evolving the brand. Spring 2007 marked the introduction of JOIE Shoes, followed by Soft JOIE in Spring 2010 – a collection of luxuriously soft tees, tanks, sweaters and dresses inspired by JOIE’s effortlessly chic aesthetic, and handbags for Fall 2012.
The JOIE brand holds a strong global presence in prestigious department stores and specialty shops worldwide, as well as free standing JOIE boutiques in New York City on Madison Avenue and in SoHo, Newport Beach’s Fashion Island and on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Alongside the growth of the brick and mortar retail business both domestically and internationally, JOIE launched an e-commerce website in January 2012, extending the boutique experience to the JOIE customer on the digital level. With a long roster of store openings slated for 2013 and more product categories on the horizon, JOIE’s unparalleled growth will only strengthen as it increases the brand’s global reach.
Life is good. In 1989, Bert and John Jacobs designed their first tee shirt. They knew nothing about the business. For five years, the brothers hawked tee shirts in the streets of Boston and traveled the East Coast, selling door-to-door in college dormitories. They collected some good stories, but were not very prosperous. They lived on peanut butter and jelly, slept in their van, and showered when they could.
By the Fall of 1994, heading home from a long, less-than-fruitful road trip, Bert and John were desperately searching for answers to keep the dream alive. Little did they know, the only answer they needed was back in Boston, hanging up on their apartment wall.
Jake’s contagious grin, simple as it was, seemed to express everything the Jacobs brothers believed in. One fateful September day, they printed up 48 Jake shirts for a local street fair in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They laid the shirts out on their rickety card table. By noontime, all 48 of those tees were gone. A star was born…and so was Life is good.
Soon Jake was introduced to local retailers, and his simple message of optimism was embraced like nothing the brothers had ever seen. As demand for product soared, Jake’s team grew, and the Little Brand That Could began to spread across America.
Today, the New England based brand stays close to its roots, with an emphasis on simplicity, humor and humility. Through Life is good Festivals, positive products, and a steady dose of ping pong, Jake’s crew does its best to keep the good vibes flowing.

When the Fila brothers first opened shop in 1911 in Biella, a small town in the foothills of northern Italy, they had no idea how far their legacy would travel. Originally in the business of creating quality textiles for local townspeople, the brothers sought to produce fabrics that combined luxury, art and utility, drawing inspiration from their homeland to create product as exquisitely textured and evocative as the Italian landscape: the austerity of the Alps, the fluidity of the hills and the boldness of the Mediterranean coast. Today, as Fila celebrates its 103rd anniversary, it is proud to say that their vision lives on in the company. From the craggy peaks of Mount Everest to the illustrious lawns of Wimbledon, the name Fila echoes an unmistakable legacy of excellence, born through decades of innovation and unswerving dedication to provide premium sportswear crafted to be exceptional as its wearer.
A century after its humble beginnings, FILA has become synonymous with performance and sophistication. Worn not only by internationally recognized athletes, but the fashion conscious, Fila uses premium fabrics designed to radiate the sophistication of Italian craftsmanship, while allowing maximum flexibility and performance. Their legacy of style earns them admiration to this day. Whether you perform for the challenge of adventure, the rigor of competition, or simply the pleasure and well-being of an active life, Fila will help take you wherever you want to go, because they understand that the beauty of sport is that of a life in motion.
